We support healthcare facilities in recruiting qualified nursing staff from an international environment - professionally, integratively and with social responsibility. Our recruitment is carried out according to the highest ethical standards and meets the strict criteria of the RAL quality mark for fair and ethical recruitment. In this way, we create long-term solutions for employers and nursing staff alike.
We support you throughout the entire process – from finding suitable candidates to coordinating travel, arrival, and integration. We make sure every step runs as smoothly as possible and keep you transparently informed at all times.
We take great care in choosing our care staff. By thoroughly checking both their expertise and personal suitability, we ensure they are not only qualified and motivated but also the right match for your team.
Strong language skills are crucial for smooth integration. Our care professionals receive intensive German instruction up to B2, delivered by certified language partners, to ensure they’re fully equipped for working in Germany.
We support not only the recruitment but also the long-term integration of care professionals into your team and their new environment. This includes intercultural preparation courses and close support during the initial phase.
Our processes follow the high standards set by the RAL-quality mark for fair and ethical recruitment. This ensures transparent and sustainable recruitment practices – for the benefit of both employers and care professionals.
Whether it's sourcing candidates, managing visa procedures, or securing official recognition, we manage it all – so you can focus on your core business while we ensure a smooth process.
Our commitment doesn’t end upon arrival. We continue to support both you and the care professionals after their start in Germany to ensure a successful long-term collaboration.
We help international care professionals get off to a smooth start in Germany – and take the pressure off you as an employer. From airport pickup and official registrations to optional support with finding housing.
The entire process – from recruitment to arrival – can take around 12 months. During this time, we handle the language preparation and all official procedures for you. In many cases, we already have candidates in our pool, which can significantly shorten the timeline.
Each of our care professionals holds a four-year nursing qualification and often has several years of hands-on experience, along with a valid license from their country of origin. This allows for a smooth and fast integration into the German work environment.
The candidates complete a comprehensive language course up to level B2. In addition, they receive training in job-specific medical terminology. We work with several language providers to ensure quality. In some cases, a B2 exam may still need to be taken in Germany.
Initially, candidates can be hired as assistant nurses and start working during their recognition phase. After successfully completing a recognition exam or adaptation course, they are fully licensed nurses. We guide you in selecting the most suitable option.
If you’d like to join our talent pool, there are a few important steps to follow. We place great value on careful candidate selection. To be best prepared, feel free to get in touch with us early – we’ll guide you through the entire process.
We assess your qualifications and personal strengths through interviews and a careful review of your documents. At the same time, we explain what lies ahead and make sure your expectations align with those of your future employer and our team.
Working in Germany requires at least the language level B1. To build a lasting career, we suggest the B2-language level. You’ll receive language training with our support – in partnership with an accredited language school.
While you're completing your language course, we organize job interviews with employers whose needs align with your qualifications and goals. A successful placement follows once there’s a mutual fit.
We take care of all official procedures in your home country and in Germany. You’ll receive regular updates on the status of your application. We also coordinate the visa process with the German embassy in your country of origin.
Together with your future employer, we plan your arrival in Germany. Before your departure, you will receive a Integration and crash course, providing insights into life and work in Germany.
Even after your arrival, we’re still by your side. We actively support you and your employer during the integration process – because your success is our shared goal.
In order to be employed as a qualified nurse in Germany, you need a so called adaption measure
you’ll receive individual guidance to choose the path that works best for you.
We place great value on the fair and ethical recruitment of international nursing professionals. We commit to upholding key codes of conduct such as the WHO Global Code of Practice, the International Human Rights Convention, and ILO standards for fair recruitment.
The best part: The process is free of charge for you. We don’t charge any placement fees to care professionals.
Germany is currently facing a severe shortage of nursing staff. As a result, many positions remain unfilled, and care professionals from abroad are in high demand. This makes it the perfect time to come to Germany and start working.
In Germany, you can enjoy numerous advantages: strong public health insurance, competitive wages through union agreements, minimum vacation entitlements, paid overtime, and more.
At GoodCare, we’re happy to assist you. Additional guidance is also available from the IQ Netzwerk or the "Make it in Germany" initiative. You can find initial information in the brochure “Information on Labour Migration into the German Care Sector.”

On average, the process takes around 12 to 14 months until arrival in Germany.
From the age of 45, the visa requirements include a higher minimum income than the average salary of a qualified or assistant nurse. While we don’t have a strict age limit and assess each case individually, we must comply with legal regulations.
Of course, you have the option to decline the offered accommodation and find your own place to live. You are also free to terminate the rental agreement at any time, regardless of your employment contract.
Important: In some cases, changing your employer means you’ll need to move out of the provided accommodation.
We’ll be happy to give you detailed advice on this.
