Dzenana Rovcanin

Dzenana was born in Gladbeck and completed her law studies with an LL.B. at the Free University of Berlin. She has been co-founder and managing director of GoodCare since 2022 and contributes her extensive legal expertise.

Eric Risopp

Eric was born in Berlin and received his Master of Science in Business Administration from the Brandenburg University of Technology. As co-founder and managing director, he is significantly involved in the strategic direction and business development.

Why we founded

The shortage of skilled workers is omnipresent

The shortage of skilled workers is one of the biggest challenges of our time. The understaffing of staff leads to high sickness rates, high dropout rates and means that many people leave after just a few years.

The challenge of our time

Our family members, who have been working in care themselves for years, have inspired us to campaign for care conditions in Germany. We are grateful for their hard work and dedication in the care sector and want to help create the conditions in which they can do their best work. We know firsthand how stressful and challenging the nursing profession can be, but we have also seen how fulfilling it can be to help and be there for people.

We want to break this vicious circle. We are aware that we cannot solve the problem of the nursing shortage on our own, but we are convinced that every small step helps to improve the situation. We are motivated and committed to doing our part to ensure that care conditions in Germany remain at a high level in the future. We are proud to be part of this important mission.

Why nurses from abroad?

Even if we rapidly increase training rates and create further incentives for the nursing profession, it will not be enough to meet the need for nursing staff. We believe that highly motivated and highly qualified nurses from abroad is part of the solution. With more staff, the working conditions of the existing nurses improve, sick leave due to stress is minimized and there is more time for those in need of care. This increases the quality of life of the weakest people in our society.
